This cup is dual layered.
The inner layer has drainage holes at the bottom and a fill line on it.
You fill the inner cup with rice up to the fill line, while in the outer cup – and can rinse the rice without it draining.
After you can remove the outer cup and the water will drain.
Additionally, the inner cup holds exactly 1 cup of rice. The outer cup holds 1 and 1/2 cups of water – this is the perfect ratio for rice to water in my option
Allowing for rice washing, measuring of the rice and water – all in one!
